You’ll be part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team that takes pride in delivering high-quality, functional, and sustainable infrastructure for the future.About the Role As Group Manager for Road &amp; Traffic, you’ll lead a talented team of road and civil engineers, driving impactful traffic-, infrastructure- and ITS projects that shape the way people move. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-profile road solutions for public clients, while growing AFRY’s presence in Denmark as well as internationally. You will combine strategic leadership with meaningful engineering that strives to improve everyday life. Your key responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Lead and inspire a team of skilled road/traffic engineers in close collaboration with technical leads</li><li>Oversee complex road infrastructure projects—delivered on time, on budget, and to top quality</li><li>Manage resources and priorities across a dynamic project portfolio</li><li>Build and maintain strong client relationships, especially with public clients such as municipalities and Road Directorate</li><li>Collaborate across disciplines—traffic, ITS, structures—to deliver integrated solutions</li><li>Drive business development and expand AFRY’s road project footprint in Denmark and abroad</li><li>Lead proposal work, from scoping and estimating to final delivery</li><li>Handle day-to-day people management, including recruitment, development, and performance</li></ul>You will work from our office in Aarhus and Herning and be part of AFRY Road &amp; Rail Denmark management team, contributing to strategic decisions, knowledge sharing, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture.
