AECOM’s Water Business Line is actively seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer. The successful candidate will work with other technical disciplines on all project phases to deliver a variety of water, wastewater, and resiliency projects.  AECOM is proud to provide our employees with a variety of exciting, challenging projects locally and worldwide.This position can be based out of our Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Orlando, or West Palm Beach, Florida office location.  As a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer, you will play a key role in both technical execution and team leadership. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to<ul><li>Lead and oversee the design and development of water and wastewater treatment, conveyance, and distribution projects.</li><li>Prepare engineering reports, design calculations, technical specifications, drawings, and cost estimates.</li><li>Manage project schedules, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes.</li><li>Coordinate with clients, contractors, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.</li><li>Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and design staff.</li><li>Perform capacity analysis for water and wastewater systems (as applicable).</li><li>Review and stamp engineering deliverables in accordance with professional licensure requirements.</li><li>Stay current with emerging technologies, sustainability practices, and evolving industry regulations.</li><li>Demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.</li><li>Demonstrate a proactive mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative solutions.</li><li>Demonstrate a strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations.</li><li>Utilize excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients, agencies, and stakeholders.</li></ul>
