As the first design-focused member of the marketing team, you’ll play a key role in shaping how the world sees Vertical. You’ll work within the Marketing &amp; Communications team, partnering with various business critical functions to create compelling design that elevates our brand and supports our communications across all channels. There will be short lead-time projects, and your work will help secure customers and investment opportunities.It’s not a typical role, it will require flexibility, creativity, and resilience. For the right person, it’s a chance to have a real impact on the future of flight.What you’ll doConcept &amp; Strategy<ul style=""><li>Work with Marketing, Investor Relations, Commercial, Public Affairs, and other external-facing teams to understand objectives and develop creative design concepts.</li><li>Contribute to creative workshops to generate ideas and visual directions.</li><li>Collaborate across teams to elevate marketing and brand content across digital, print, and environmental channels.</li><li>Translate complex engineering concepts into simple, visually engaging narratives.</li></ul>Design &amp; Delivery<ul style=""><li>Create, iterate, and deliver design assets across a variety of formats, including graphic, illustrative, technical, and motion.</li><li>Develop and maintain a broad range of presentation decks, templated marketing materials, and digital and physical campaign assets.</li><li>Produce investor materials and marketing decks at pace</li><li>Ensure brand consistency across all visual communications, maintaining high standards of design and execution.</li><li>Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Work with external partners, suppliers, and creative agencies as required (we work with some brilliant branding, creative, and video partners)</li></ul>What you’ll bring<ul style=""><li>A strong understanding of design principles, visual storytelling, and brand systems.</li><li> Proven experience producing high-quality creative work across digital and print media, in a business environment.</li><li>Strong Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects or Premiere) proficiency, and comfortable producing high-quality Powerpoint documents</li><li>Ability to interpret briefs, present ideas, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Willingness to "go the extra mile” and sometimes at short notice to execute on tasks to a high quality and against tight deadlines</li><li>A proactive, mindset, keen to keep abreast of trends and techniques, bringing these into your work</li><li>Keen eye for detail and an understanding of visual hierarchy, composition, and typography.</li><li> Motion graphics, animation, or video editing is a plus.</li><li>Full, clean driving licence.</li></ul>What can you expect from us?We're on a mission. Vertical Aerospace builds technology to revolutionize how people fly, by making air travel personal, on-demand, and carbon-free.
