Role SummaryThe Marketing Manager owns marketing strategy, content, inbound demand generation, and marketing operations. This hands-on role is responsible for filling the top of the sales funnel and building Ekotrope’s brand presence across industries and audiences.The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with executional drive - someone who can plan, write, design campaigns, and measure performance to fuel company growth. Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy &amp; Branding (Pre-Lead)<ul><li>Lead annual marketing strategy, campaign planning, and event sponsorship efforts.</li><li>Refresh brand positioning, website messaging, and creative assets as needed.</li><li>Set and track pipeline generation targets across lines of business.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, CSMs, and product teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals.</li><li>KPI: Pipeline coverage vs. targets (by line of business)</li></ul>Content &amp; Demand Generation<ul><li>Create, publish, and promote content including blogs, newsletters, case studies, social media, SEO, and product marketing.</li><li>Own the content and campaign calendar, ensuring consistent output and alignment with company milestones.</li><li>Manage Ekotrope’s website, calls-to-action (CTAs), and inbound lead flow.</li><li>Oversee paid advertising campaigns (LinkedIn, Google, retargeting) to extend reach.</li><li>Plan and facilitate conferences, trade-shows, and industry roundtables to strengthen market visibility.</li><li>KPI: Content output vs. plan, inbound traffic growth, and inbound inquiries vs. objectives</li></ul>Inbound Lead Capture &amp; Qualification (Lead → MQL)<ul><li>Respond to inbound inquiries (phone, web, email) and qualify leads to confirm market fit.</li><li>Maintain lead management workflows and coordinate with Sales to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.</li><li>Support development of personas, positioning, and messaging.</li><li>KPI: Lead → MQL conversion rate; inbound lead volume</li></ul>Marketing Operations &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Build and manage marketing systems for campaign tracking, analytics, and KPI reporting.</li><li>Maintain dashboards to track leads, MQLs, content performance, and inbound traffic trends.</li><li>Partner with Sales Operations and other teams to ensure consistent data accuracy across tools and processes.</li><li>KPI: Accuracy of marketing performance reporting; marketing-driven pipeline metrics</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.</li><li>4+ years of experience in marketing or demand generation, preferably in a B2B and SaaS environments, and preferably with some experience in the building construction industry.</li><li>Proven ability to manage campaigns end-to-end — strategy, execution, reporting.</li><li>Strong writing, storytelling, and content creation skills.</li><li>Experience with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools.</li><li>Familiarity with SEO, paid media, and event planning: a plus.</li></ul><ul><li>Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency and content quality.</li></ul>Capabilities<ul><li>Strategic thinker who can also execute quickly and independently.</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills.</li><li>Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines.</li><li>Data-driven mindset with curiosity for experimentation and optimization.</li><li>Collaborative team player who thrives in a cross-functional environment.</li></ul> Why Join Ekotrope?<ul><li>Impact: Be part of a mission-driven company that is making a big impact on the environmental sustainability of homes throughout the USA.
