<div><div><p>Pollination is looking for a Climate and Sustainability Specialist to join our busy Advisory team in Australia team on a 6 month contract basis (with the potential to extend), based in either Sydney or Melbourne.</p><p><br></p><p>In this role, you will advise corporates, financial institutions and governments on climate strategy, technical research, financing solutions and transition to a net zero economy. You will bring your own deep climate change expertise and networks — whether in transition or physical risk, clean energy, corporate climate strategy, investment, advocacy, governance, policy, market design, or other closely related fields — to help our clients address some of the most pressing and challenging problems in the world.</p><p> </p><p>The desired candidate will have</p><ul><li>8+ years in strategy, economics, finance or a closely related field;</li><li>Experience in climate and sustainability consulting, financing or investment;</li><li>Experience in project management and research delivery</li><li>Strong familiarity with domestic and international climate issues and dynamics; </li><li>Experience delivering leading sustainability and/or climate strategy in either in-house or in a professional service capacity; </li><li>Client focus and delivery orientation;</li><li>Exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills;</li><li>Experience managing multiple projects or client engagements concurrently;</li><li>Experience leading delivery teams and managing junior staff in a collaborative and inclusive culture;</li><li>Relevant industry networks; </li><li>Drive to find strategic solutions that help our clients deliver net zero and building climate resilience;</li></ul><p> </p><p>The successful candidate is likely to have an advanced university qualifications in economics, finance, business, science, technology, engineering, mathematics or a closely related field, and significant relevant experience in in-house strategy, management consulting or finance.</p><p> </p><p>This position is offered initially on a fixed term contract basis and there may be the potential for a longer term or a permanent position in the future.</p></div></div>
