This is an existing permanent full-time role that will see you learn hands-on as part of our experienced Highways team, while studying an Associate Degree, to become a Civil Designer.You will be part of the team delivering the engineering design and documentation for exciting and important infrastructure projects across our region and others within the ANZ business. You will build your design capability through practical and hands on experience with through projects involving roads, bridges, water infrastructure and renewable energy for major clients.How you’ll make a difference<ul><li>Contribute to the team of drafters/designers in the compilation of three-dimensional models, drawings and documentation using industry leading software from providers such as 12D, Autodesk and Bentley</li><li>Undertake quantity calculations to generate bill of quantities</li><li>Assist in the management of design documentation files</li><li>Be part of an experienced and professional multidisciplinary team delivering project outcomes</li><li>Work full time in a permanent role</li><li>Study externally through the University of Southern Queensland Australia (USQ) an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering (4-year part time course) with financial support from the business</li></ul>Rockhampton is one of seven AECOM Queensland based offices.  Our dedicated staff in the Rockhampton office provide engineering/design and project delivery services in the fields of Transport, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Civil, Geotechnical, Water and Project and Construction Management.
