This role will be responsible for defining, governing, and evolving the architecture strategy for SAP and adjacent enterprise platforms. This role will serve as the primary architectural authority for SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP, while ensuring alignment with the organization’s broader digital transformation roadmap—including cloud-native modernization, intelligent automation, and AI-enabled workflows. The role requires deep technical expertise in SAP, a strategic understanding of enterprise integration, and strong leadership in guiding development and platform teams toward clean-core, composable, and extensible architectures.Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead end-to-end architecture design across SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and connected enterprise platforms.</li><li>Drive clean-core modernization, extensibility via APIs, and event-driven integrations aligned to Archer’s digital strategy.</li><li>Partner with development and infrastructure teams to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient SAP solutions.</li><li>Mentor and guide global SAP development teams on architecture best practices (ABAP, CAP/RAP, Fiori).</li><li>Establish platform governance, DevSecOps pipelines, and CI/CD standards to accelerate delivery and ensure compliance.</li><li>Introduce AI-driven automation and intelligent workflows leveraging SAP Joule, Agentic AI, and Business Data Cloud.</li><li>Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to align enterprise architecture with Archer’s operational and manufacturing priorities.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>15+ years of experience in SAP technology and enterprise architecture roles.</li><li>Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, RISE/GROW, and cloud-native architectures (AWS or Azure).</li><li>Experience leading large-scale modernization and integration programs across manufacturing and supply chain environments.</li><li>Proven ability to establish governance, architecture frameworks, and cross-functional alignment.</li><li>Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to influence across technical and business teams.</li><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; SAP or TOGAF certification preferred.</li></ul>At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business. We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $163,200 - $204,000.
