This role assists with audits, identifies process improvements, and may mentor junior accounting staff.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><p>● Process a higher volume of transactions and perform account reconciliations with minimal supervision.● Research, track, and resolve moderate financial discrepancies and customer/vendor issues.● Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.● Support internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation and schedules.● Train and mentor junior Accounting Specialists or clerical staff on standard processes and systems.● Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and financial process improvements.● Monitor compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.● Partner with branch and department leaders to resolve financial questions and support reporting needs.</p><h2>Qualifications</h2><p>● High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree or coursework in Accounting preferred.● 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.● Solid knowledge of accounting principles, AP/AR processes, and reconciliations.● Experience with accounting or ERP software and strong Excel skills.● Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.● Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.● Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.</p><p>● Deltek/Vantagepoint experience is a plus but not required. </p><p> </p><p>#AccountingJobs #NowHiring #FinanceJobs #AccountingCareers #AccountsPayable #AccountsReceivable #APAR #Accountants #Recruiting #JobSearch #CareerOpportunity #HiringNow #JoinOurTeam</p><p>#AccountingProfessionals #AccountingSkills #FinancialReporting #Reconciliation #AnalyticalSkills #ExcelSkills #ERP #Deltek #Vantagepoint #ProblemSolving #OrganizationSkills</p><h2>Travel Requirements</h2><p>● This position does not require regular travel as part of its primary responsibilities.
