AECOM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Engineer or Geologist for a Environmental Deputy Office Lead (Remediation) for our team in Kenova, West Virginia. The ideal candidate will have technical and project management expertise related to oil/gas and remediation projects. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.</li><li>Technical Expertise: Apply technical knowledge to address environmental challenges in remediation, groundwater contamination, soil treatment, waste management, and environmental compliance for oil and gas facilities, refineries, and industrial sites.</li><li>Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, regulators, and stakeholders. Ensure excellent customer service and timely communication regarding project updates, risks, and outcomes.</li><li>Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with environmental laws, regulations, and industry standards, and ensure all projects are compliant with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.</li><li>Office Leadership: Manage and lead a team of professionals within the local office. Provide mentorship, training, and career development support to junior engineers, geologists, and project staff.</li><li>Business Development: Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and assisting with proposal development, contract negotiations, and client presentations.</li></ul>
