Employees at this level solve complex problems, manage work, and provide leadership to others in engineering areas of specialization, with minimal supervision and increased latitude for un-reviewed work.</p><h2></h2><h2><b>Responsibilities </b></h2><ul><li><p>Primarily programming electronic reclosers for various applications.</p></li><li><p>Involved in supporting reliability initiatives such as event investigation.</p></li><li><p>Serves as a consultant for solar and battery interconnections.</p></li><li><p>Supports automation for self-healing configurations.</p></li><li><p>Interfaces with Transmission relaying on upstream relay coordination.</p></li><li><p>Networks with Standards on developing new protection tools and features.</p></li><li><p>Interfaces with Grid Management on temporary switching for project work.</p></li><li><p>Develops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities.  Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills.  Maintains accurate records and files.</p></li><li><p>Supports the company's goals and represents the company positively and professionally.</p></li><li><p>Coaches and mentors other engineering and non-degreed engineering professionals.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><h2><b>Required/Basic Qualifications </b></h2><p>Must have obtained Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program AND/OR a PE </p><p>Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience </p><p>Professional Engineer licensure required (current standing)</p><p>A Master's degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the B.S.
