This role involves hands-on maintenance work, coordination of facility projects, and ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient working environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial maintenance, construction, and groundskeeping, with a strong understanding of safety protocols.</p><p></p><h3>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</h3><h3><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h3><ul><li>Maintain a safe work environment through training, adherence to policies, and consistent housekeeping.</li><li>Ensure cleanliness and organization of all plant areas including restrooms, break rooms, training rooms, production floor, and outdoor spaces.</li><li>Perform routine cleaning tasks and manage waste removal, including heavy debris.</li><li>Support post-maintenance clean-up and inspections.</li><li>Maintain and stock cleaning supplies and tools.</li><li>Perform groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, trimming, trash pickup, and snow/ice removal.</li><li>Conduct minor repairs and maintenance projects including lighting, ceiling tiles, painting, plumbing, and small construction tasks.</li><li>Assist with preventive maintenance schedules and equipment upkeep.</li><li>Regularly clean machinery and auxiliary equipment.</li><li>Maintain safe working conditions and support environmental standards.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><h3></h3><p></p><h3><b>Complexity and judgment</b></h3><p>Regularly encounters problems that involve multiple-choice options, but through prior exposure, experience and established procedures/policies can resolve most appropriate course of action. Work involves both routine and non-routine tasks within well-defined standards.</p></div><h2></h2><h2>Requirements</h2><div><ul><li><ul><li>High school diploma or GED required.</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities or industrial maintenance.</li><li>Experience in a manufacturing or production environment strongly preferred.</li><li>Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.</li><li>Familiarity with industrial cleaning supplies and powered industrial vehicles.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul></li><li><b>Physical Requirements</b><ul><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.</li><li>Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.</li><li>Must wear required PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.).</li><li>Ability to work 8–12-hour shifts and perform repetitive motions.</li></ul></li></ul><h3></h3><p></p><h3>WORKING CONDITIONS</h3><p>The physical effort required is considerable due to heavy physical activities of various kinds. Regular work is performed in a non-controlled temperature environment. These exposures could produce discomfort and/or moderate risk of accident or ill health.
