The Hydro operator B training program is formally structured such that after the first 6-months as a Hydro Operator, the individual shall be able to safely and knowledgeably “Startup” and “Shutdown” the Hydro generating units The accepted applicant will be given a “Hydro qualification guide” and “Hydro training manual”, to be utilized during the training.  Weekly reviews will be scheduled with training team and supervision.  It is expected that a certain amount of study and review might be necessary off company time depending on the applicant’s background and experience.
