As the Company continues on its journey, the successful candidate will have experience implementing and complying with the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act and is comfortable with the rigid reporting requirements of an SEC-registrant.</span></div><br><br><h3>What you'll do:</h3><ul><li><b>Financial Management and Reporting</b><b>:  </b>Consolidate and prepare accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies; oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes.  Compliance will include overseeing the annual financial statement audit, 401(k) audit, 409(a) valuations, and tax reporting.</li><div><br></div><li><b>Cost Accounting</b>:  Oversee the cost accounting team, developing cost accounting policies and procedures, and ensuring consistency in cost accounting practices. In addition, implementing cost control measures, and working with other departments to optimize resource allocation.</li><div><br></div><li><b>Internal management reporting</b><b>: </b>Support all internal management reporting and analysis, with other finance team members and act as a strategic finance advisor to the business.</li><div><br></div><li><b>Investor interactions and reporting</b>: Support investor diligence, reporting needs, audit confirmations, tax forms (K1s) and more detailed reporting as needed.</li><div><br></div><li><b>Controls environment:  </b>Grow and strengthen the system of internal controls to prepare the Company to be compliant with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and well-prepared for a potential SEC-registrant in the future.</li><div><br></div><li><b>Accounting operations</b><b>:</b> Manage and grow key related financial functions, including accounts payable, payroll and cash management, and build a commercial-ready accounts receivable department.
