Our performance-based, no-capex contracts ensure we only get paid when we deliver results—enabling organizations to share in cost savings without any upfront investment.  Position Overview This role will provide consultative support to management and employees in creating and maintaining the company's Safety and Environmental values and programs.  This position is primarily responsible for representing and supporting Calibrant in Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality matters focusing on construction, O&amp;M and field operations of battery storage and solar installations. Principal Duties and Responsibilities <ul><li>Maintenance, development and implementation of Safety Environment &amp; Quality programs, compliance plans, and initiatives focused around company Safety &amp; Environment values, goals, objectives, and various regulations.  </li></ul><ul><li>Develops and facilitates the site construction HSEQ activities </li></ul><ul><li>Performs site HSE inspections and develops mitigation plans to prevent injuries, incidents, and environmental impacts </li></ul><ul><li>Perform Contractor Health, Safety and Environmental Audits qualifying contractors to perform high risk activities.  </li></ul><ul><li>Performs both site and vendor product quality inspections and develops mitigation plans to cost of poor quality and down time </li></ul><ul><li>Review and approve contractor Health and Safety Plans (HASP) </li></ul><ul><li>Review and approve contractor Quality Control Plans (QCP) </li></ul><ul><li>Review and approve contractor site Risk and Environmental Site Assessments (RESA’s) </li></ul><ul><li>Feedback corrective actions when contractors HSAP, QCP, and/or RESA’s that do not meet Calibrant guidelines. </li></ul><ul><li>Develop and maintain the database for HSAP, QCP, and RESA’s </li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate and support staff functions and office/remote/hybrid HSE programs including emergency planning and ergonomics </li></ul><ul><li>Participate in the investigation of incidents, near misses, and deviations </li></ul><ul><li>Perform both internal and external training on HSEQ related topics </li></ul><ul><li>Support the Procurement process for contractor HSEQ performance by technical review </li></ul><ul><li>Acts with integrity in all HSEQ matters to maintain Safety &amp; Environment compliance and excellence </li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate Safety &amp; Environment internal and regulatory reporting including data collection and reporting for construction sites across North America</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate and monitor the selection, training, and use of PPE as needed </li></ul><ul><li>Provide information and assist in the development of budget forecasts, schedules and associated cost information and labor allocations </li></ul><ul><li>Special Projects as required including coordination of and/or participate in various company HSEQ initiatives </li></ul><ul><li>Participate in or lead cross-functional projects or audit teams to support the company's HSEQ program </li></ul><ul><li>Contribute to the overall needs and objectives of the unit and company. </li></ul>RequirementsQualifications <ul><li>BS in Health and Safety, Engineering, or related work experience </li></ul><ul><li>Medium voltage electrical experience related to battery storage and solar </li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of and experience with the National Electric Code and NFPA 855 </li><li>Advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to be on call or work off hours as needed </li></ul><ul><li>Availability for local, domestic, and international travel; up to 60% </li></ul><ul><li>Strong initiative and drive for high achievement and continuous improvement </li></ul><ul><li>Superior written, verbal, presentation and communications skills along with interpersonal, and organizational skills required </li><li>Demonstrated ability to be a team player with passion, drive and the ability to self-start </li><li>Strong initiative and drive for high achievement and a continuous improvement approach </li></ul><ul><li>Experienced with Human and Organizational Performance </li></ul>Base pay is $130,000-$135,000 annually BenefitsWe believe in fostering an inclusive environment in which employees feel encouraged to share their unique perspectives, leverage their strengths, and act authentically. At Calibrant Energy, our priority is to ensure that every team member feels valued and supported.
