The candidate will be responsible for supporting project planning, coordination, and execution activities, ensuring quality and timely delivery of project outputs.<ul><li>Support the design and execution of civil engineering projects in coordination with multidisciplinary teams.</li><li>Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, and presentations.</li><li>Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.</li><li>Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.</li><li>Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support project delivery.</li><li>Provide technical support during different stages of project implementation.</li></ul>With a track record of achievement in a related role, you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.Suitable applicants will have/be:<ul><li>Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline (e.g bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.)</li><li>Minimum 2 or more years of relevant professional experience.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office and PowerPoint.</li><li>Knowledge or interest in AI, IT applications, GIS, computer graphics, and project management software will be an advantage.</li><li>Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple priorities.</li></ul>SMEC is an equal opportunity employer.
