As our Lead Project Planner you will be part of a big global team of project planners.In the position you will be providing a complete project planning and scheduling support to the projects in line with all core processes, procedures, templates and tools withing Scatec. Main responsibilities <ul> <li>Operating System: follow guidelines and prescribed structures as outlined by the Operating System; provide continuous input towards improvement and optimization of the Operating System</li> <li>Support to Opportunity and Development Phase of Projects: compile high level timeline for opportunity and development; assist in developing milestones to be integrated in the relevant Power Purchase Agreement; assist in due diligence process; provide resource man-hours estimation</li> <li>Support to Structuring Phase of Projects: maintain and updating the high level timeline; establish and update the program for structuring phase; compile and prepare overall master project program (schedule) for delivery phase integrating the standard Work Breakdown Structure (WBS); prepare planning related contract schedules for head EPC, all suppliers and contractors’ contract documents; support supply chain with quotation documents, final purchase orders, contract and tender evaluations; support engineering team with planning for engineering documents, (MDL)programme alignment and preparing engineering progress report; Track, monitor and forecast progress of all structuring phase activities, communicate with the team members about activities to be performed and deadlines; report project progress </li> <li>Support and monitor to Delivery / Execution Phase of Projects: reviewing and verifying the contractor’s baseline, programme basis memorandum, manpower and machinery histograms and S-Curve; setting up the baseline, weighting and generating the S-Curves; update the project schedule based on work achieved, baseline updates and reporting, as well as providing forecast to all stakeholders on upcoming and critical activities; coordinate and follow-up the project planner at site, to ensure the information gathered from the contractors are incorporated into the overall project master schedule; elaborate documentation needed to support main EPC contract document; suppliers and sub-contractor EPC request for quotation documents and final purchase orders</li></ul> Qualifications and competencies <ul> <li>Education: Formal Technical Qualification (Engineering, Project Management)</li> <li>Experience: 8+ years of project planning and scheduling experience in an EPC organization</li> <li>Language: fluent both written and spoken in English (Arabic is a plus)</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of Planning Tools (Primavera, MS Projects, MS Office)</li> <li>You are used to changing environments and to quickly meet new challenges </li></ul>Personal characteristics It is part of every employees’ terms of reference to contribute to Scatec's vision: Improving our Future and adhere to our company values which are: <ul> <li>Predictable: demonstrate clear communication and listening skills, shares information in an open and honest way </li></ul><ul> <li>Driving results: demonstrate determination, pro-activeness, can prioritise and work independently </li></ul><ul> <li>Changemaker: demonstrate entrepreneurship, can challenge, fast learner, take initiates and adjust </li></ul><ul> <li>Working together: demonstrate teamwork, shares responsibilities, can compromise, has a can-do attitude </li></ul> We offer Scatec is an exciting, innovative and ambitious company operating in a growing industry.
