You will be an important ambassador to support this strategic priority across the board.As QH&amp;S Specialist – O&amp;M projects within Offshore Wind you have the following key responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide ongoing support and advice to the project team to ensure compliance with relevant health and safety statutory obligations, codes and standards.</li><li>Provide ongoing support and advice to the project team to ensure compliance with Vattenfall safety objectives, expectations, requirements and safety management system obligations.</li><li>Provide support in executing the duties as required under the European Health and Safety Coordination regulations of each country and similar principles of the European Temporary Works Directive and UK Construction Design Management Regulations 2015.</li><li>Contribute, support and where required lead in the implementation of the project safety culture program.</li><li>Drive H&amp;S risk management within the O&amp;M projects organization, support the development of Risk Assessments / Method Statements (RAMS) and monitor it’s compliance to Health and Safety during execution of the O&amp;M projects;</li><li>Plan and Conduct drills/exercises to validate Emergency Response provisions across the project.</li><li>Plan and execute Audit/Inspections to ensure that all activities under the project scope are assured.</li><li>Oversee Incidents and safety observations and support in the satisfactory closeout of resultant actions.</li><li>Investigate incidents and review external Investigation reports for acceptance, ensuring all resultant actions are closed satisfactorily.</li><li>Contribute to health and safety in the selection and procurement of supply chain partners.</li><li>Implement lessons learned, safety alerts and other health and safety aspects and learnings.</li><li>Support the development and update of safety standards, instructions, codes and guidelines, and formalize them into company-documented practices as required. Ensure sharing and implementation of these across projects.</li><li>Ensure maintenance of Health and Safety File information</li><li>Ensure communication and cooperation between all parties and duty-holders.</li><li>Communicate openly to actively engage with the wider Vattenfall community on health and safety.</li><li>Support in the H&amp;S component of contractor management processes (procurement, contractor performance evaluation, audits,…).</li></ul>
