Our key product—the Long-Term Market Outlook (LTMO)—guides investment planning, asset valuation, and regulatory analysis across Vattenfall.  What You’ll Learn and Do.  You will work at the intersection of data engineering, energy market modelling, and digital transformation. As Data Engineer you will play an essential role in supporting energy market analysis by designing, building, and maintaining a robust data infrastructure. Your work enables the team to simulate, understand and project energy market dynamics, pricing, and policy impacts. You will be a key contributor to the development and delivery of Vattenfall’s LTMO a strategic scenario product used across the company for investment planning, asset valuation, and regulatory analysis.Your learning journey will include:<ul><li>Building and maintaining data infrastructure Learn to operate our Azure-based LTMO Data Hub, including Databricks notebooks, SQL pipelines, and Python scripts.</li><li>Publishing and visualizing data Help prepare LTMO outputs using Power BI dashboards and Excel templates, while learning best practices in data quality and version control.</li><li>Automating workflows Support the team in streamlining processes and exploring AI and cloud-native tools to improve efficiency.</li><li>Running market scenarios Get hands-on experience with the BID3 model and learn how we simulate energy market dynamics.</li><li>Collaborating across teams Work with modellers, IT experts, and business stakeholders to understand how data drives decisions.</li></ul>Location   Stockholm
