Job DescriptionAbout the roleBrookfield is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented finance professional with accounting experience to join the Korea Fund Finance team. This position goes beyond a typical accounting role, involving a wide range of fund operations and financial reporting activities across Brookfield’s Korean Real Estate Fund Entities (REFs). The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting fund management, financial analysis, and investor reporting, while collaborating closely with internal teams and external advisors in a dynamic, global environment. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Support the reporting and operations of multiple real estate investments and holding structures</li><li>Assist in the set-up, operation, and liquidation processes of Korean REFs</li><li>Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with different GAAPs (Korean GAAP and IFRS)</li><li>Assist in the external audit and tax reporting processes with Big 4 firms</li><li>Compile and analyse financial data and operating metrics for quarterly reporting packages submitted to internal and external stakeholders</li><li>Maintain accurate books and records for the investment vehicles</li><li>Partner closely with external service providers</li><li>Support liquidity monitoring, capital call and distribution processes, and wire execution</li><li>Coordinate with other departments to fulfill fund operations, reporting requirements and responding to inquiries from investors</li><li>Assist in management fee and waterfall calculations</li><li>Prepare investor reporting and collaborate with internal teams on fund operations</li><li>Participate in other related tasks, internal reporting and special projects as requested</li></ul>About You<ul><li>3-7 years of experience in accounting</li><li>Experience in PE real estate or fund accounting strongly preferred</li><li>Hands-on, with high standards for accuracy and quality, and thorough and meticulous with strong attention to detail</li><li>Strong understanding of IFRS and Korean GAAP principles, and solid technical financial reporting skills.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, complex, and fast-paced environment, and adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines</li><li>Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and focus on cross-functional communication</li><li>Ability to multitask effectively and manage time well to meet multiple reporting deadlines</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel</li><li>Certified Public Accountant qualification preferred</li></ul>Brookfield Asset Management does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruitment agencies.
