You’ll be the driving force behind maintaining high standards, meeting contractual and legal requirements of the building, external fabric and grounds, car parks area and associated services.There is a requirement to travel within the role covering both our Derby and Romsey site. What You’ll Be Doing:<ul><li>Manage maintenance and facilities of production facility, all Mechanical &amp; Electrical equipment, production area, security systems and infrastructure across the production and office areas.</li><li>Maintain a robust Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system and ensure best practice methods are applied.</li><li>Lead project management for equipment moves, installations, and site improvements.</li><li>Ensure site compliance with building regulations, PUWER – Provision and use of Work Equipment Regulations, LOLER – Lifting Operations and Equipment Regulations, L8 Water Management Regulations, Electricity at Work/Fixed Wire Testing, PAT – Portable Appliance Testing, WAH – Working at Height Regulations, environmental regulations and corporate sustainability goals.</li><li>Manage utilities and drive energy efficiency initiatives.</li><li>Oversee waste management, ensuring legal compliance and minimization.</li><li>Manage site services including security, cleaning, catering, and landscaping.</li><li>Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts for delegated spend, ensuring value for money.</li><li>Lead capital expenditure projects from planning through execution.</li><li>Supervise and coordinate contractor activities, ensuring quality and compliance.</li><li>Responsible for producing the weekly, monthly and periodic reports as required in line with KPI’s, contractual requirements and legal compliance.</li><li>Foster a positive working environment aligned with company values.</li><li>Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues, including out-of-hours support.</li><li>Liaise with internal departments and external bodies to ensure efficient operations.</li><li>Manage relationships with suppliers of materials, services, and utilities.</li></ul>About you                 <ul><li>Significant experience in a similar role in a production facility, factory, mixed use site.</li><li>Experience of managing more than one site.</li><li>People Management experience – desirable.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing</li><li>Commitment to working as part of a team</li><li>An understanding of health and safety requirements of a working environment</li><li>Working knowledge of environmental regulations</li><li>Good understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles</li><li>Attention to detail and good time management</li><li>Good IT skills</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>IWFM/Degree in facilities management or a related engineering discipline</li><li>Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) certification in Managing Safely.
