You will be in charge of devising direct sales strategies and plans to deliver revenue growth. You will also be in charge of proactively developing the sales pipeline and drive these to fruition. You must demonstrate a high-level understanding of business processes and integration solutions in the asset management segment. You will also need to work with the pre-sales team and subject matter experts in order to prepare and submit documents such as RFI/ RFQ/ RFP. In developing the pipeline and scoping sales opportunities, you need to be able to visualize the technical requirements communicated by various departments of a prospective client, and to be able to synthesize these into proposed solutions which the client will find compelling. You must be able to understand the implicit and explicit requirements and navigate these from a techno-commercial perspective.How you’ll make an impact:<ul><li>You will build and maintain strong personal relationships with existing customers, partners, and stakeholders to ensure strong, long-term, strategically profitable relationships.</li><li>You will act as the voice of the customer internally, proactively raises awareness and ensures proper action towards product features and quality improvement, perform sales activities for an assigned area and accounts to achieve or exceed set orders objectives. </li><li>You will meet new account sales quotas for products and services, develop sales plans, strategies, and final presentations designed to enhance orders growth and meet customer needs. </li><li>You will analyze customers' needs and recommend a solution that best meets the customers' requirements, remain knowledgeable of the organization’s products/services to facilitate sales efforts. </li><li>You will promptly follows-up on marketing leads and other customer-based actions.</li><li>You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.</li><li>Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.</li></ul>Your background:<ul><li>You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical background in electrical/software engineering with a business background.</li><li>Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in similar position or alternative combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.</li><li>Experience in business development, account management and cross-selling across systems, solutions, products, and service categories, selling enterprise software solutions in the asset management segment is a strong plus</li><li>Understanding of contract negotiation, risk management and commercial and legal terms, exceptional communication and negotiating skills, customer-focused mindset, and a professional, “can-do” attitude. Strong selling and relationship development skills are required to cope with a wide variety of complex information.
