Equipped with the latest in manufacturing technology and equipment and teams that are continually striving for new developments and refinements, IMT will continue to set a standard of excellence in the design, manufacturing, performance, and delivery of high-quality products.Are you an experienced CNC operator?  We would invite you to join our team at IMT!  Our fabrication team is looking for hardworking, dedicated team members to join us.Summary:These operators are setting up and operating the CNC machines proficiently and editing a CNC program for proper function.Duties &amp; Responsibilities:  <ul><li>Interpret advance engineering drawings, understanding design requirement including datums, critical dimensions and tolerances.</li><li>Sets up CNC machining and / or turning centers to achieve required specifications.</li><li>Effectively program, setup, &amp; operate multiple CNC machines producing high quality parts.</li><li>Monitor parts to ensure adherence to drawings and within tolerances.</li><li>Shape, sharpen, set cutter &amp; adjust tools to achieve desired print tolerance.</li><li>Knowledge &amp; ability to setup bore gauges &amp; other measuring equipment.</li><li>Complete all required paperwork, including labor reporting &amp; documentation of quality control &amp; material movement.</li></ul><ul><li>Continually on the move, prepping / moving heavy parts. </li><li>Being a reliable and punctual team member.</li></ul>Basic Qualifications:<ul><li>Advanced blueprint reading, mathematical and technical skills.</li><li>Ability to use standard tooling such as, micrometers, calipers, height gages, etc.</li><li>Basic knowledge of boring bars, drills and other required tooling used to run a CNC machine. </li><li>Frequent lifting / carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.  Lifting devices are available and recommended.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>1 year experience beneficial.</li><li>Ability to read blueprints, understanding tolerances.</li><li>Basic knowledge of different material types is beneficial.</li><li>HS diploma or GED.</li></ul>Oshkosh is committed to working with and offering reasonable accommodations to job applicants with disabilities.
