It is responsible for managing customer enquiries from initial contact through to quotation, order processing, documentation and invoicing.You will work closely with customers, internal teams, and overseas GEA business units on a daily basis, ensuring accurate information flow and the delivery of a timely, professional service. There may occasionally be a requirement for overseas travel.<ul><li>Manage After-Sales and Service administration workflows from enquiry through to completion.</li><li>Prepare accurate quotations for UK customers and intercompany quotations for overseas GEA units, applying the correct commercial terms, margins and discounts.</li><li>Co-ordinate the processing of purchase orders, order confirmations and invoicing activity in line with company standards.</li><li>Source and procure spare parts and service requirements as instructed, ensuring timely fulfilment and traceability.</li><li>Process inbound invoices from overseas GEA group companies and ensure alignment against approved orders.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date customer, order and service information within GEA systems and databases.</li><li>Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, ensuring resolution and escalation where required.</li><li>Support the Sales team with quotation data, pricing information and general customer enquiry handling.</li><li>Maintain professional relationships and effective communication channels with key overseas GEA stakeholders.</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 5 years’ experience in an After-Sales or Service operations environment.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and customer communication skills, including confident telephone manner.</li><li>IT literate, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Good knowledge of CRM &amp; SAP or similar ERP system preferred.</li><li>RSA Qualifications in Typing preferred.</li><li>Understanding of engineering principles and technical terminology desirable</li></ul>Did we spark your interest?
