<div><span style="font-size:16px;">Zoox's Advanced Hardware Engineering team is responsible for the design, development, and innovation of sensor technology as well as the compute platform for our vehicles. In this role, you will work within a multi-disciplinary engineering team to design high-speed digital and embedded systems in accordance with industry standards, best practices, and requirements.</span></div><br><br><h3>In This Role, You Will: </h3><ul><li>Own end-to-end electrical design ownership of Electronic Control Units. </li><li>Schematic capture and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layouts.</li><li>Basic firmware/software/scripts developments for hardware functions bring up and debugging</li><li>Support mechanical engineers on packaging and thermal designs.</li><li>Support test engineers on design validation, ESD, EMC tests.</li><li>Support system engineers on system integration and functional safety analysis.</li><li>Design requirements and concepts documentation</li></ul><h3>Qualifications </h3><ul><li>BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field.</li><li>2+ years of experience in electronic control unit designs</li><li>Solid fundamental knowledge in analog and digital electrical circuits. </li><li>Hands-on experiences in designs with MCUs, A/D converters, Serializer/Deserializers, PHYs, and power converters.</li><li>Understanding of power integrity (PI) and signal integrity (SI) principles and implementation in PCB designs.</li></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications </h3><ul><li>Experiences with automotive EMC compliance.</li><li>Experiences with automotive-grade firmware development.</li><li>Knowledge of automotive functional safety and system-level integration analysis.</li></ul><br>
