This full-time role involves the installation of solar energy systems for residential, commercial, and utility-scale projects. While prior experience in solar or renewable energy is strongly preferred, it is not required—construction experience is also highly valued.This position requires frequent travel, up to 80% of the time. To be considered, candidates must have a background in construction or solar and must reside within one hour of Lexington, KY, as regular travel to local job sites is expected.Solar Installer Responsibilities:<ul> <li>Installation of solar components</li> <li>Installation of roof and ground based racking systems</li> <li>Installation of solar panels</li> <li>Basic electrical wiring</li> <li>Job documentation</li> <li>Completes and stays current on safety and industry training</li> <li>Must maintain a safe job site</li> </ul>RequirementsRequired Skills:<ul> <li>Candidate must be able to work in extreme environments – hot sun, winter weather, outdoor and attic installations</li> <li>Must be able to fulfill physical requirements. Work involves squatting, twisting, standing and stretched positions, and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. of materials or tools.
