Role overview We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain safety-critical embedded software for our Hydrogen Electric Engine controllers. In this role, you will architect and implement hard real-time control algorithms in C for a bare-metal environment, ensuring strict compliance with DO-178C objectives and relevant aerospace standards.Your expertise will be crucial in performing detailed design, low-level device driver development, and delivering traceable software solutions within allocated project constraints. Main responsibilities  <ul><li>Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C code. </li><li>Delivering the software development tasks for a project within the allocated budget and time frame. </li><li>Ensuring that the specification, design, and acceptance information is fully traceable. </li><li>Architect and implement hard real-time control algorithms in C for bare-metal environment.</li><li>Providing input to project schedules through regular and clear progress reports. </li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>BS/MS Degree in Engineering/Technology </li><li>7+ years of embedded software development in safety-critical domains.</li><li>Strong proficiency in C, with fair understanding of Assembly language. </li><li> Perform requirement analysis and flow down to software and detail design. </li><li>Ability to work in a structured engineering process-oriented environment, with experience of software quality and management processes. </li><li>Low-level device driver development for real-time control systems.</li></ul> Desirable skills <ul><li>Understanding of DO178B/C, Standard and objectives are desirable. </li><li>Experience of model-based software development in MATLAB Simulink/ANSYS SCADE. </li><li>Knowledge of communication protocols like ARINC825, ARINC429, I2C, CANOpen and Serial Bus. </li><li>Experience in scripting languages like Python would be an added advantage</li></ul> BenefitsWhy Join Us? We want to help you be your best self, at work and at home, that’s why we provide our employees with… <ul><li>Private health and dental care – get access to services and support when you need them.
