To accomplish this, the following list of responsibilities are key to being successful in the position.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Directly supervise mechanics and accomplish yearly reviews.</li><li>Develop daily work schedules and establish yearly goals. </li><li>Develop and keep current the Preventative Maintenance program.</li><li>Utilize the computerized maintenance management program (CMMS) for work order management, inventory tracking, equipment trends, and personnel utilization.</li><li>Manage equipment moves and the relocation of utilities. </li><li>Ensure employees accomplish their required training.</li><li>Order parts as needed and document in the CMMS.</li><li>Provide input to the Facilities Manager for the annual budget.</li><li>Work with the accounting department to properly classify and process invoices.</li><li>Develop vendor and contractor relationships.</li><li>Troubleshoot or aid in the repairs of equipment.</li><li>Support the safety program and ensure compliance with applicable policies and codes.</li><li>Support OPEX activities as required.</li><li>The supervisor will function as a backup to the Facilities Manager on facilities related issues.
