At this level an incumbent is expected to have a thorough understanding of work unit techniques, software, and procedures. The incumbent will be expected to perform routine and non-routine, complex tasks with high levels of accuracy and consistency. The incumbent will also be expected to develop advanced skills and the ability to work with a high degree of independence.<h2>Responsibilities:</h2><ul><li>Uploading information into a document management system (CastPro, etc.) including equipment drawings, test reports, etc.</li><li>Uploading and updating equipment technical information in the data management system including asset attribute data (technical data such as design information voltage, capacity, ratings, weight, dimensions, test report data, etc.).</li><li>Routing, tracking and coordinating equipment design reviews (drawings) with design engineering, asset management, and manufacturers.</li><li>Supporting the on-time delivery of engineering drawings to design engineering for equipment and provide related support to Designers and Engineers as needed.</li><li>Provides non-administrative support to engineers as needed.</li><li>Must exhibit good judgment, be able to set work- related priorities and make effective business decisions.</li><li>Facilitates communication with internal and external customers to complete technical tasks.</li><li>Maintains and updates technical documentation in accordance with established work procedures.</li><li>Perform technical data requests (compiles, organizes, uploads, etc data in databases and programs, etc). </li><li>Utilizes and maintains software systems (e.g. CastPro, Maximo, Departmental database, etc.) and hardware (printers, plotters, scanners, etc) as necessary for job-specific responsibilities.</li><li>Develops and/or reviews selected correspondence, reports, budgets, invoices, schedules, and/or technical documentation.</li><li>Reviews technical work produced by self and others to ensure accuracy and completeness. Makes appropriate modifications and recommendations as necessary. </li><li>Perform routine and detail oriented tasks in a fast-paced, results driven environment.</li><li>Appropriately selects and utilizes the most effective tools, methods and technologies to complete assignments.</li><li>Strives to continually improve job-related, technical and professional knowledge, skills and performance.</li><li>Develops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities.  Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills.  Maintains accurate records and files.</li><li>Supports the company's goals and represents the company positively and professionally.</li><li>Recommends new and innovative methods or procedures for accomplishing work and increasing productivity.</li></ul><h2>Required/Basic Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Associate's degree</li><li>In addition to required degree, three (3) or more years related work experience</li><li>In lieu of Associate's degree(s) AND three (3) or more years related work experience listed above, High School/GED AND five (5) or more years related work experience</li></ul><h2>Additional Preferred Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Intermediate proficiency in database applications (e.g. Maximo, CastPro, etc.)</li><li>Performance Expectations: "Fully Meets Expectations", "Valued Contributed", or better in final 2 APA ratings.</li><li>Experience in the utility industry.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds.</li><li>Basic proficiency in design tools used by the business unit (e.g. AutoCAD, Microstation, Sharepoint, etc)</li><li>Good written and oral communication skills.</li></ul><h2>Working Conditions:</h2><ul><li>Hybrid – Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period.
