AECOM is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer II with a strong interest in surface transportation and roadway design to join our Transportation team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of civil engineering experience and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. This position provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery of roadway, highway, and civil infrastructure projects throughout the region. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform specific and limited portions of broader roadway and civil design assignments under moderate supervision.</li><li>Prepare detailed design calculations, engineering drawings, and technical reports in support of roadway, grading, drainage, and traffic design.</li><li>Assist in the development of plans, profiles, cross sections, and construction details using MicroStation.</li><li>Gather and analyze engineering data, survey information, and field observations following established standards and procedures.</li><li>Identify and communicate design discrepancies or conflicts and propose practical engineering solutions.</li><li>Provide guidance to entry-level engineers or design technicians.</li><li>Support project delivery in accordance with established scope, budget, and schedule.</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including traffic, structural, and environmental disciplines, to deliver cohesive project solutions.</li><li>Assist with quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and preparation of project documentation for review and submittal.</li></ul>
