Join our outstanding team and help shape the future of energy. Position Specific DescriptionEmployees in this position oversee the completion of tasks associated with readiness for operations for new solar and battery projects. Employees will manage a portfolio of projects across the state of Florida. The ideal candidate will have the ability to travel to support sites as needed. The team works to ensure the operations teams are set up for success by managing transition processes from pre-construction to operations. This role’s primary function is to ensure completion of all transition processes in a timely and efficient manner enabling the success of the operations teams upon completion of construction. Employees in this role will manage a particular function of a wider team’s overall responsibilities, some of these functions include QA/QC program oversight, engineering program oversight, transition process oversight, information system process oversight, among others. Employees in this role will support the other functional managers as a part of the larger team. Responsibilities will also include assignment of individual construction projects where site visits and inspections will be required. Travel can be expected at 50% of an employee’s time. Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Strong knowledge and experience in any power generation or renewable technology, from construction through operations, or any part thereof</li><li>Solar experience is desired but not required</li><li>Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent</li><li>Six Sigma Green Belt Certified and PMP Certified</li></ul> This is an engaged position and involves working closely with various groups such as the OEM’s, construction and engineering, Solar Operations, and technical service groups. Employees in this role may be expected to:<ul><li>Plan, coordinate and complete several large-scale, medium-scale, and/or small-scale, complex long term project(s)</li><li>Manage all aspects of the day to day transition process to ensure timely completion as well as efficient and reliable outcomes</li><li>Work with vendors and support teams to ensure timely supply of spare parts</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements</li><li>Manage multiple projects at the same time</li><li>Safely deliver results on schedule and under budget</li><li>Have strong prioritization skills – safety and quality focused</li><li>Be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and locations while maintaining safety and quality top of mind</li></ul>
