The Battery Test Technician will perform tasks in conditioning and testing Amprius Technologies’ proprietary silicon anode Li-Ion cells.  This is a TEMP role with an opportunity to be converted to Regular Hire with Benefits. </p><p> </p><h3>Job Responsibilities </h3><ul><li>Perform routine tests on Amprius batteries to evaluate performance, safety, and quality. </li><li>Utilize tools/equipment such as pneumatic cutter, electric drill, degas machine, and formation machine. </li><li>Perform PC Board Soldering per specifications and instructions.</li><li>Load cells into test fixtures, set-up and execute electrical cell tests. </li><li>Measure cells using mass scale, digital multi-meter, and caliper.</li><li>Perform visual inspections to identify and evaluate potential defects. </li><li>Identify and escalate failures or unexpected behaviors to the Engineering Team within defined response time. </li><li>Monitor and maintain testing equipment and calibrate as needed. </li><li>Participate in troubleshooting and identifying causes with Engineers and Technicians. </li><li>Accurate documentation of the data. </li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives towards better efficiency and safety. </li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. </li><li>Follow safety guidelines for handling battery components. </li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Proficient in use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. </li> <li>Comfortable performing manual tasks requiring precision and manual dexterity. </li> <li>Basic understanding of electrical connections and testing software. </li> <li>Proficient in troubleshooting and problem solving. </li> <li>Follow technical instructions for test procedures precisely and document results accurately. </li> <li>Motivated to new challenges and embrace learning new techniques and refining existing techniques. </li> <li>Autonomous, personable, positive and a good teammate. </li> <li>Organized, detail oriented, and clear written and verbal communication skills.  </li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul> <li>Salary: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour.
