About the Venture We are building a next-generation Identity + AI Cybersecurity platform designed to secure how modern SaaS systems, users, and AI agents interact. Our platform combines identity modelling, real-time policy enforcement, and AI-driven risk analysis to help enterprises manage access, trust, and security in an increasingly agent-driven world.Having just secured pre-seed funding, we are now moving into build mode. You will join a technical CEO and early founding team in Berlin to architect, design, and ship the core platform from day one. About the Role We are looking for a deeply technical Founding CTO (or even a Founding Engineer) who will take full ownership of the platform architecture and build the first version of the product. This is a hands-on role where you will spend meaningful time writing production code while defining the long-term direction for engineering, security, infrastructure, and team growth. Responsibilities include:<ul><li>Own the full technical architecture across identity, AI agent systems, and enforcement</li><li>Design and implement identity models, permission graphs, token lifecycle, and SaaS risk flows</li><li>Build the agent identity model, sandboxing framework, trust scoring, and behavior engine</li><li>Write production-grade backend code (4–6 hours/day in the early stage)</li><li>Lead engineering execution across roadmap planning, sprints, and delivery</li><li>Build core services including connectors, policy engine, risk engine, and real-time enforcement</li><li>Partner with the CEO on system design, product direction, and technical strategy</li><li>Support enterprise customers with technical deep dives, PoCs, and security validation</li><li>Maintain high standards of security, reliability, and architecture</li><li>Define and establish the long-term technology strategy and data infrastructure</li><li>Hire, lead, and scale an in-house engineering team</li><li>Manage data privacy, secure storage, and analysis frameworks</li><li>Contribute directly to building Europe’s most advanced cybersecurity platform </li></ul>About You We are looking for someone highly technical, hands-on, and motivated by building complex distributed systems at the earliest stage. You might be a Founding Engineer, you might be a CTO - what matters is the work that you do here. Requirements:<ul><li>Significant experience in backend engineering and system architecture</li><li>Ideally, exposure in technical leadership roles</li><li>Experience shipping complex distributed systems</li><li>Deep understanding of OAuth/OIDC, identity flows, API keys, tokens, scopes</li><li>Knowledge of RBAC/ABAC or fine-grained access systems</li><li>Familiarity with Zero Trust principles and integration security</li><li>Experience with AI/LLM systems or ability to learn fast</li><li>Strong security mindset and understanding of modern attack surfaces</li><li>Experience integrating with SaaS APIs</li><li>Ability to move fast and operate independently</li><li>Experience with Terraform and cloud deployments</li><li>Prior startup experience and strong founder mentality </li></ul>Nice to have:<ul><li>Experience with agent orchestration or sandboxing</li><li>Experience with event-driven or streaming systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub)</li><li>Knowledge of policy engines</li><li>Experience with token analysis or credential hygiene</li><li>Familiarity with cloud IAM (AWS/GCP/Azure)</li><li>Experience with risk scoring or anomaly detection</li><li>Understanding of graph databases or unified identity graphs</li><li>Prior cybersecurity or identity experience</li><li>Product leadership or prior founder experience </li></ul>Why should you join us?
