Auditors travel to client sites, perform audits, and submit their audit checklists for review and certification.This is a contract position, and preferred candidates are located in Ivory Coast.Relevant Services/Schemes</div><div><ul style="list-style-type:square;"> <li>Rainforest Alliance (RA)</li></ul></div>Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAudit Coordination <ul style="list-style-type:square;"> <li>Schedule and confirm audit date with client as per the assignment instructions</li> <li>Prepare and send client audit plan according to protocols</li> <li>Book travel, hotel, and transportation according to company policy, and submit expense reports</li></ul>Audit Services<ul style="list-style-type:square;"> <li>Adhere to all quality and code of conduct standards</li> <li>Conduct audits using applicable checklists, forms, and tools</li> <li>Maintain positive client relationships and respond to all client inquiries and concerns</li> <li>Submit complete and accurate audit reports within established timelines</li> <li>Ensure thorough client records are maintained</li></ul>Program Quality and Compliance<ul style="list-style-type:square;"> <li>Attend trainings to maintain qualifications to conduct audits; maintain training records</li> <li>Maintain up to date knowledge of applicable regulations and standards</li> <li>Prepare clients for audit process by sending required audit plan</li></ul>Minimum qualifications<ul style="list-style-type:square;"> <li>Rainforest Alliance Sustainable Agriculture Standard Farm and/or Supply Chain E-course certificate</li> <li>Audit Log with minimum 10 environmental and social audits as a lead auditor within the most recent 4 years (e.g. RA, UTZ, Fair Trade, RSPO, GRASP, etc.)</li> <li>Familiarity with the third-party certification process</li> <li>Strong communication and customer service skills</li> <li>Well-developed organizational and time management skills</li> <li>Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and database systems</li></ul>Education and Experience<ul style="list-style-type:square;"> <li>University degree in agronomy, food systems, or agroforestry</li> <li>40-hour quality management system training ISO 14001, 9001, 22000 (e.g. Exemplar Global, IRCA, etc.)</li> <li>Lead Auditor course from a third party such as ISO 19011</li> <li>40-hour social audit training (SA8000, SMETA, etc.)</li></ul>Physical RequirementsWilling to travel up to 75%, mostly overnight travel throughout Ivory CoastThe above description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
