This is a paid internship but we don't provide housing assistance or relocation so will be considering local applicants.    Project Overview Selected student will work with Hardware/Firmware Development team to assist in the development/validation of communications technology and continued test environment support activities. (programming meters/modifications/tool creation/etc.)   At the end of the Intern period a presentation is to be given to the Director of Hardware Development. (summarizing development support activities and what was learned). Student Objectives/Responsibilities •    Prototype Hardware debug and test •    Design and test stand-alone hardware and/or Software in support of HW validation efforts •    Prepare DUTs for test rounds •    Acquire skills at operating typical lab test equipment and soldering •    Collaborate with Development Engineers and Engineering Lab Technicians in support of HW development on-going projects •    Prepare circuit simulations, circuit analysis, custom tool (SW) creation Education/Experience Qualifications Sought: MS Office suite, basic schematic and electrical component understanding, Coding experience with software such as C#/C++/Python/etc.Applicants must be undergraduate students working towards their Bachelors degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering and have residence in or around the Pequot Lakes, MN area. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.We're committed to shaping a better future for everyone. #EnergizeYourCareer and join us on our journey towards a greener tomorrow.
