Regular in-person presence, is required at our Delta, BC manufacturing facility.</div><div> </div><div><b>Work Hours: </b></div><div>Monday to Friday</div><div>_______________________________________________________________________________________________</div><br><br><h3>Summary of Role &amp; Responsibilities - Senior Accountant:</h3><ul><li>Lead full-cycle month-end close including reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, and journal entries </li><li>Prepare monthly financial statements and management reporting packages </li><li>Maintain general ledger integrity  </li><li>Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management </li><li>Ensure accurate job costing and WIP reporting  </li><li>Collaborate with project managers to track project margins and progress billings </li><li>Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes </li><li>Coordinate semi-monthly payroll and benefits administration  </li><li>Prepare and remit GST/HST and other statutory filings </li><li>Support year-end working paper preparation and liaise with external accountants </li><li>Support audits and liaise with external auditors and tax professionals.</li><li>Document and refine accounting workflows and internal controls </li><li>Partner with CFO to strengthen financial reporting practices </li><li>Grant report preparation and submission</li><li>Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis </li></ul><h3>Education &amp; Qualifications, Required:</h3><ul><li>Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, or a related field.</li><li>CPA designation or candidacy is an asset</li></ul><h3>Skills &amp; Experience, Required:</h3><ul><li>5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or construction industry.</li><li>Prior experience with Epicor, or another mid-market MRP system, an asset but not required </li><li>Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Excel, and cloud-based accounting tools  </li><li>High attention to detail, proactive communication, and strong analytical and organizational skills </li></ul><h3>Important to Mention!</h3><ul><li>When on the production floor or construction site, wear appropriate protective equipment, such as a hard hat, hearing protection, safety work boots, and safety glasses.
