In this role, you will take ownership of key financial processes and lead a team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight. You will be responsible for performing general accounting activities, including the maintenance and reconciliation of all accounting records such as general, property and cost accounts.The position involves designing and implementing budgetary and internal control systems, preparing financial reports for management and shareholders, and ensuring the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles. You will prepare, record, analyse and report accounting transactions, provide financial statistics and long-term earnings forecasts to support strategic planning, and direct the budgetary planning and reporting process.Additionally, you will develop and maintain reporting, planning and budgeting systems, prepare financial and management reports, and present findings and recommendations to senior managementKey responsibilities include:<ul><li>Mentoring the Financial Controller Community, coordinating work from Shared Service Center in Tallinn and Ostrava and provide guidance to team members.</li><li>Leading and actively participating in various accounting projects to drive process improvements</li><li>Steering end-to-end accounting processes to ensure compliance with high-quality service standards and reporting requirements</li><li>Ensuring fulfillment of local statutory and tax reporting requirements, including annual reports, tax declarations, statistics, and transfer pricing documentation</li><li>Analyzing and auditing the correctness and completeness of financial figures</li><li>Coordinating IAS 19 Pension reporting for Swedish entities</li><li>Acting as the main point of contact on Company in scope for local auditors, tax authorities, and other authorities, as well as internal stakeholders such as Group Tax Services, Business Units, Group Accounting, and Reporting</li><li>Supporting the setup of Sweden's legal structure and involvement in strategic decisions such as equity injections, dividends, and changes in legal structure, with the assistance of the tax team for specific tasks</li></ul>You will report to the Accounting Director and collaborate with other Accounting teams to maintain consistency across all regions where we operate, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients and upholding our commitment to excellence.  Who are we looking for? We are looking for a highly skilled professional with strong expertise in accounting and leadership.
