You’ll collaborate directly with AWS experts, gaining exposure to best-in-class practices while contributing to a high-impact transformation initiative.As a Software Engineer, you’ll participate in the design, development, and testing of software solutions, ensuring successful deployment into production environments. You’ll work alongside senior engineers, continuously improving your technical skills and contributing to the evolution of a cloud-native, distributed platform.This is more than a software engineering role—it’s a chance to work on a strategic transformation project alongside AWS experts, using cutting-edge technologies to build a global platform. At TP ICAP, we offer a collaborative environment, continuous learning opportunities, and the ability to make a real impact on the future of financial market infrastructure.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Communicate architecture principles and design decisions clearly to team members and stakeholders.</li><li>Support Agile delivery by engaging in planning, estimation, and prioritisation activities.</li><li>Contribute to solution design and development, focusing on back-end services and APIs in .NET C# within a cloud-based distributed architecture.</li><li>Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK (Python preferred) to automate deployment and resource management.</li><li>Ensure high-quality code through unit testing, automated testing, and adherence to best practices.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BAs, QA, PMs) to deliver solutions aligned with business requirements.</li><li>Demonstrate T-shaped skills, contributing across development areas and supporting team members in building their own breadth of expertise.</li><li>Participate in Agile ceremonies and foster a culture of continuous improvement.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to minimise business impact.</li><li>Contribute to the modernisation and simplification of the technology landscape, driving transformation initiatives.</li><li>Maintain clear documentation of code, processes, and system configurations.</li></ul>Experience / CompetenciesEssential<ul><li>Experience with C# (.NET 8+) in a professional environment.</li><li>Experience with back-end programming language C#</li><li>Ability to work with BAs/POs to clarify requirements and constructively challenge assumptions.</li><li>Experience in technical platform teams delivering reusable services across multiple projects.</li><li>Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and CSS pre-processors (e.g., Tailwind).</li><li>Strong understanding of version control systems (Git) and cross-browser compatibility.</li></ul>Desired<ul><li>Knowledge of financial markets, OTC products, and regulatory-driven projects.</li><li>Contribution to open-source projects is a plus.</li></ul></div>Band &amp; Level<ul><li>Professional / 5</li></ul>#LI-Hybrid #LI-ASO #NIJobsNot The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
