These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.​ We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins. Position Summary and Responsibilities: ·         Supporting AP team leader ensuring the function operates within the financial control and procedures set by the group policies within the shared service team responsible for multiple entities both within the UK and globally.·         Reviewing the accounts payable inbox moving/replying to emails.·         Processing of supplier/contractor invoices, ensuring invoices are processed in a timely manner with relevant purchase orders and approvals.·         Preparing AP GL reconciliation.·         Paying suppliers invoices via electronic means, such as BACS, CHAPS and international transfers.·         Reconcile/File Supplier Statements and request copies of missing Invoices/credit notes and follow up on action points.·         Review expense claims to ensure adherence to policy and local legislation.·         Develop effective relationships with internal and external customers, reporting lines, external bodies and colleagues across the organisation, provide assistance, and support when required. Qualifications, Experience and Skills ·         Excellent communication skills.·         Ability to work well within a team and individually.·         Have knowledge of financial systems.·         Minimum of two years’ experience in a fast paced P2P/Accounts Payable department.·         A focus on accuracy and attention to detail with ability to follow-up to ensure issues are resolved.·         Experience of SAP, XA or IFS ERP desirable but not essential.·         Proficient in Excel data entry, formatting and basic formulas.·         Continuous improvement mindset.·         Integrity and confidentiality.   We offer a range of benefits that include: ·         Salary sacrifice-led pension plan that matches employee contributions up to 7%.·         Employee Assistance Program.·         Free life assurance cover at the value of four times basic annual salary.·         Holiday purchase scheme which enables employees to purchase an additional week’s worth of annual leave each year.·         Company funded medical cash plan (MediCash) which allows eligible members to offset the cost of routine medical treatments.·         Competitive employee discounts platform that provides employees with discounts with leading brands/retailers.·         Cycle to Work scheme.·         Equality, Diversity &amp; Inclusion Committee that supports and champions employee diversity.  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
