Remora is hiring a Metal Fabricator who will assemble structural metal products using a variety of tools and machines. Working alongside the mechanical engineering team, as they develop our products from prototype to production, all while helping to tackle the defining challenge of our time.
Responsibilities:
Fabricate, disassemble, and assemble structural metal products
Read and interpret dimensions from sketches and drawings of concepts
Operate metal working tools and equipment, including but not limited to lathes, mills, drill presses, press-breaks, shears, welding and cutting equipment
Proficient in either MIG or TIG for SS and Aluminum, or stick for steel
Willing to attend training as needed to increase knowledge and abilities
Requirements:
5+ years’ experience in fabricating steel and welding field preferred, or ability to demonstrate proficiency.
Ability to read drawings, follow technical specifications and generate innovative solutions.
Experience in prototyping environment a plus
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel
