Job Description

Job Summary: 

We are currently looking for a full-time Business Administrator at our Minneapolis office. This position will provide support to the Wind Park Operations team by running wind energy reports, creating purchase orders, managing field inventory, and coordinating the completion of deliverables.

Essential Functions:

  • Monitor and follow-up on team priorities and distribute daily Plans of the Day (PODs) and site performance updates.
  • Create monthly, quarterly, and annual operational, production, and curtailment reports.
  • Create and follow-up on operational purchasing orders, quotes, and invoices.
  • Track, update, and follow-up on outstanding payments, bills, reports, and filings.
  • Maintain operational inventory. 
  • Coordinate team calendars, meeting agendas, and a weekly on-call rotation schedule.
  • Book travel, including reviewing and maintaining travel checklists.
  • Assist with production tax filings and complete and submit regulatory compliance paperwork.
  • Update and follow-up with the team for expected compliance deliverables, filings, and reporting.
  • Other clerical duties as needed.

 

Qualifications: 

  • 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative or operations support role preferred. 
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field. 
  • Previous experience working in the wind energy industry preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in (or willingness to learn) MS Office and Mac applications.
  • Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) the company’s O&M software and purchase order systems (Planergy and Asset-Panda).
  • Knowledge preparing for and leading meetings. 

 

This position will require occasional travel and a valid driver’s license is required.
