Records Clerk

Job Summary: 

We are looking for a Records Clerk who is tech-savvy and has experience performing clerical duties. This position will support daily operations by careful filing and retrieving records, accurate updating information and labeling and maintaining database.

Essential Functions:

• Print, fax, scan, and file documents.
• File physical and electronic records.
• Send, receive, and distribute mail.
• Assist staff in locating records.
• Serve as backup for archivist, including sharing records with external contacts.
• Assist the archivist and administrative team with other duties as needed.

Qualifications: 

• Associate or higher level degree preferred. 
• Experience managing records and sensitive information.
• Clear handwriting, and ability to read and understand a wide range of materials. 
• Proficient in MS Office and Mac and general internet applications.
• Detail-oriented.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience performing clerical duties preferred. 
• Able to ascend/descend a ladder to access file cabinets and frequently move file boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
