We are looking for a Facilities Technician to join our team. The goal of an Facilities Technician at Wisk is to ensure that . You will be part of the Facilities team that is responsible for the Maintenance of all Sites, and Equipment and Safety and Security of all persons at any of our Locations and provide Customer Support 100% of the time. 
Why we need you:
The goal of the Facilities Technician at Wisk is to ensure all maintenance and customer support issues are resolved within a 48 hour timeframe. And to gain knowledge of the Aerospace Industry through on the job training.
You will be part of the team that will build the first fully autonomous all-electric aircraft that performs and operates safely in an urban air-mobility environment. In support of this goal, you will make sure that you support the efforts of other facility management team members and maintain the facilities running smoothly across business lines. 
The successful candidate is familiar with supporting Manufacturing, Engineering, Production and Office Space. Must be competent in all facets of building systems and automation. IFMA or CAD certification is a huge plus. 
In this role, the candidate must be proactive, compassionate , forward thinking, be self-motivated with the ability to inspire others and able to work independently and be a team player.



Responsibilities for Facility Technician:

  • Advises and coordinates with clients, vendors, contracted services, and staff on setup options and types of materials needed to achieve desired results and may be responsible for the ordering food, beverages, materials, supplies, AV equipment, printed materials, in accordance with the client’s needs
  • Calculates and provides clients all estimates of potential costs incurred in completing an event or meeting
  • In coordination with the client, helps to resolve problems or complaints from tenants, building staff or the public in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Ensures that setup of chairs, tables, stages, decorations or other equipment is in accordance with the client’s requirements and in accordance with applicable safety, fire, health, and building codes
  • May perform other support duties and functions as assigned such as administration, tenant services, clerical, printing/copying, reception, and answering phones
  • Support Customer Special Design Requirement & Projects
  • Conducts the physical movement of furniture, equipment, boxes and materials as needed for meeting and
  • Conference room set-ups, facility events, tenant move-in’s and move-out’s, freight shipping and delivery, supplies, stocking, and the like
  • Supports the efforts of other facility management team members and facility team members across business lines
  • Generates all purchase orders for assigned categories and performs PO maintenance as needed

Qualifications for Facility Technician:

  • Experience and knowledge of OHSA and city/state codes for compliance
  • Good working PC knowledge
  • Finance knowledge 
  • Minimum of 2 year of experience in commercial facility maintenance, repairs, moving, freight/docks, or mechanical work
  • Use personal computer and / or PDA for work order system, email, ESS and training
  • Be available to be on call 24 x 7 
  • Able to work extended hours or overtime when required 

Desired:

  • You are familiar with Google, Building Management Systems, CMMS, Security and Badging Systems and Fire Protection Equipment Not required but useful to have Aerospace Facilities Maintenance experience
