What You'll Do

  • Support overall management of Aspiration’s third party vendor inventory, including third party vendor onboarding, periodic vendor reviews, assessment questionnaires, and terminations (i.e. Information Security, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, Compliance, etc)
  • Produce high quality assessment reports that clearly articulate risk in a meaningful way to stakeholders, conveying sometimes complex topics to a variety of audiences (i.e. scorecards)
  • Collaborate across various stakeholders and provide feedback to support leadership, planning, and management to execute appropriate third party engagements through business cases.
  • Develop and implement established agreement terms and conditions that maximize the value of Aspiration’s relationships with its Vendors.
  • Conduct regular meetings with internal stakeholders and vendors to align business requirements with vendor strategies and synthesize our needs into clear requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor appropriate Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) across critical providers.
  • Compiles and maintains vendor findings/observations and remediation activities for ongoing vendor monitoring
  • Assists critical vendor business owners with invoice reconciliation, contract spend tracking, and any billing or invoicing questions.
  • Supports compilation of the cost savings/avoidance reporting.
  • Compile and report on Vendor Management program dashboard metrics, including overall assessment outcomes, trends/patterns, performance, and other program KPIs and KRIs.
  • Facilitates and/or drives ad hoc projects associated with the program’s strategic roadmap
  • Adheres to Vendor Management and Third Party Risk Management policies and procedures and supports Aspiration business owners in following these process requirements.
  • Supports preparation of internal and external program audits.

What You'll Bring

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in one or more of the following fields: Vendor 
  • Management, Third Party Risk Management, Risk Management, Contracts Management
  • Minimum intermediate level understanding of audit, risk, governance, and controls
  • Experience in project management and related disciplines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to partner effectively with technical and business stakeholders
  • Experience with any eGRC and IRM solutions (i.e. OneTrust, RSA Archer, LogicManager)
  • Intermediate Excel or Google Sheets experience (i.e. pivot tables, pivotcharts)
  • Be a champion for organizational behaviors consistent with vendor management and third party risk management best practices and keep abreast of industry trends
  • Financial Industry Background and/or experience with regulatory authoritative sources and industry practices such as FFIEC Handbooks, OCC Bulletin 2013-29, PCI DSS
