Salesforce Developer

Redaptive is seeking a Salesforce Developer to work closely with our growing software development team based in India.  The Salesforce Developer will collaborate with Product Management and Software Development teams. Redaptive is working at the forefront of the energy efficiency space, making innovative energy-metering IOT devices, leveraging a wide variety of best-in class IT products, and building custom software solutions to enable digital transformation. Expectation on working hours will be roughly 3 pm – 11 pm IST to align with USA mornings. These will be the same hours as the other software developers from India will work. The position is for a Salesforce Developer who thinks outside the box and can push the limits.

Job Responsibilities

• Creating complex workflows
• Creating triggers
• APEX development
• Development of visualforce pages and Lightning components
• Integration with other systems
• Testing and implementing applications
• Maintenance
• Installation and testing
• Debugging
• Producing technical documentation
• Performing reviews of the data
• Providing technical plans/solutions to business teams
• Developing solutions to address any company-wide issues and making their processes more efficient
• Reviewing custom developed code and making necessary technical adjustments
• Talent in designing, coding, testing, implementing, debugging, and supporting Salesforce.com integrations and applications.
• Knowledge in designing and implementing interfaces and APIs utilizing web services and Apex code.  

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Salesforce Developers absolutely thrive on solving problems and believe that any repetitive task can be automated with code.
• Strong attention to detail, and pride themselves on writing beautiful and clean code which will stand the test of time.
• Tenacious, given that trial and error are a part of the job. A good developer will be spurred on further by something not working as it should.
• The ability to push back when deadlines are imposed, to make sure that all code is checked and sandboxed prior to going to production. No shortcuts taken.
• Ability to interact with others to drive teams towards business goals.
• Responsible for checking and reviewing the code written by other developers and resolving any coding issues that might appear in your Salesforce configuration. 
• suggest alternative solutions to problems.
• Ability to interact with product managers, project managers, administrators and other developers to create more cohesive strategies for the tech stack. 
• Committed to ongoing growth and development as the Salesforce environment is continually evolving with the arrival of new best-practice processes and technology.
• Need to understand how to use the Salesforce ecosystem and surrounding software to deliver the best solutions to problems for the teams.
