Job Description

Redaptive in searching for a VP of Finance & Investor Relations. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role has a major impact in crafting and executing on the strategy of the business. You will play a key role in corporate strategy initiatives, evaluating opportunities and risks of prospective organic and inorganic investment alternatives. In this position you will build and manage a growing team of strategic finance professionals who serve as business partners to functional leaders across the business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own short-term and long-term forecasting process, while developing appropriate financial targets by collaborating at all levels of the organization, including business leaders and executive leadership team
  • Implement effective financial forecasting and management systems to ensure continuous improvement in our reporting, forecasting and resource allocation
  • Play a key role in corporate strategy initiatives, evaluating opportunities and risks of prospective organic and inorganic investment alternatives
  • Build and manage a growing team of strategic finance professionals who serve as business partners to functional leaders across the business
  • Prioritize hiring, developing, and mentoring the team to ensure we have the roles and skill sets that we need to deliver on company goals
  • Establish external reporting framework to educate investors and research analysts about key business trends and progress against strategic objectives
  • Lead the quarterly earnings process, creating communication materials, drafting earnings releases, call scripts, accompanying presentations, as well as preparing talking points and relevant Q&A for CFO and CEO
  • Provide strategic counsel and positioning advice to CFO/CEO on key investor messaging; collaborate with CFO, CEO, and senior executives to devise external communication strategy relating to material corporate actions (earnings, guidance, strategic transactions, etc.)
  • Act as a key contact for existing and prospective investors, research analysts and strengthen these relationships through ongoing dialogue and education.
  • Lead the collection, analysis and presentation of market and shareholder activity and trends to executive leaders and Board of Directors
  • Drive ongoing assessment of company’s capital structure and capital markets opportunities to optimize the company’s cost of capital
  • Assess capital needs and manage execution of capital raising initiatives (equity and debt offerings, lending facilities, etc)
  • Assess financing alternatives for our credit businesses to ensure access to capital and evaluate trade-offs between various funding models (warehouse lines, SPVs, securitizations, etc.)

Job Requirement/Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in senior finance leadership roles partnering with officers and executives focusing on corporate finance matters
  • 7+ years in public company finance and IR related roles
  • 7+ years’ experience in people management and professional development, demonstrated ability to build, manage, develop and motivate a team
  • Proptech, renewable, and/or fintech business model experience a plus Expert-level analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Extensive knowledge of public market investing ecosystem (institutional buy-side, hedge funds, sell-side equity research, bankers, rating agencies, etc.)
  • Experience leading execution of corporate transactions, including equity and debt capital raises, M&A, etc.
  • Have an ergonomically correct and functional work-from-home workstation set up; amenable to working from home for the foreseeable future

Colorado applicants: The expected annualized salary compensation for this position is $246,744. This estimated salary represents the typical starting rate of candidates hired in Colorado. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include relevant experience, skills, and your remote work location. Redaptive offers subsidized medical, dental and vision plan coverage, a 401(k) match, participation in our equity plan, and an annual At-target incentive bonus opportunity of at least 10% of salary at 100% achievement (actual achievement % will vary).
