The Role

The VP of Supply Chain is a key member of the senior executive team and is responsible for directing and planning all aspects of Zoomo’s supply chain initiatives, policies and objectives. You will lead high-priority strategic initiatives aligned to business strategy by providing data analysis to support decision making, innovative solutions and new supply chain models. You will collaborate closely across multiple central business units and regions, ensuring alignment, support and accountability. The VP of Supply Chain will build strong relationships with key stakeholders, executives and employees across the company to secure Zoomo’s commitment for defined strategies. This unique opportunity will allow you to have an impact from day one and play a significant role in the ongoing performance and future growth.

You will lead & oversee the manufacturing, inventory, distribution, and transportation activities. In addition, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing the supply chain management team in order to optimise manufacturing locations and distribution centers. Other duties include overseeing the development of the supply chain budget, reviewing the operating performance with quality, cost, and service metrics, and collaborating with quality, customer service, and sales departments to maintain the consistency of supply and demand objectives.

Key responsibilities;

  • Lead the transformation of global supply chain operations through development and execution of supply chain simplification and variable/base cost productivity projects.
  • Champion corporate-wide implementation of new purchasing ERP integrate supply software system
  • Ownership of Demand & Supply Planning processes that ensure the business delivers on financial targets and agreed commercial plans with customers through timely and efficient orchestration of the E2E Supply Chain.
  • Creates the strategic plan for supply chain, manufacturing and logistics based on evolving business plans and market dynamics. Determine overall optimal supply chain future state leveraging best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Partners with functional owners across our business units to translate strategic objectives into a project roadmap including people, process, systems, and assets.
  • Build internal processes and procedures to support supply chain strategy.
  • Evaluate best in class supply chain technology and infrastructure suitable to the scope and size of the business, as well as scale for future growth. Contribute to the technology strategy by identifying, assessing, and recommending external trends in technology and methodologies.
  • Drive best practices and innovative solution in supply chain analytics leveraging data and various technical tools
  • Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks to measure the success of the Planning and Logistics initiatives.

Requirements

  • BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
  • 10 years of supply chain working experience, with experience in a leadership position (manager or higher) with end-to-end supply chain responsibilities
  • Experience with hardware product manufactured in Asia/India exported to rest of the world electronics, micromobility, or automotive
  • Strong track record of creating or expanding supply chain function in a high growth environment
  • Advanced supply chain knowledge with very strong strategic & tactical slo
  • Oversaw implementation of or migration between ERPs (supply chain PoV)
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication & organizational skills
  • Ability to speak Mandarin or one European language highly regarded
