The Role

As a Sales Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on all sales data to support our global sales teams as we scale.  This will involve evaluating and identifying trends, and the ability to locate, extract, organize and evaluate large swathes of data.  This role will provide valuable input and actionable insight to leadership towards business strategic decisions.  Essential to the success of this role will be your ability to understand Persefoni’s sales process and key metrics, present and inform on business critical data and be comfortable using various business intelligence tools.  

 

Responsibilities 

  • Assist Sales Operations team on day to day needs for key reporting requirements across key Persefoni sales channels
  • Collate, analyze and report on data from various internal and external sources to understand business performance, customer and competitor trends and industry analysis
  • Manage all dashboard reporting within Salesforce and other business intelligence tooling
  • Examine sales reports to identify sales patterns and areas for improvement, comparing actual sales data to revenue projections and expectations
  • Evaluate and predict trends to develop forecasts and projections to support overall sales and revenue strategy 
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing in providing insights to overall sales pipeline growth and examine potential revenue effects of various initiatives  
  • Present reports and actionable insights weekly to support sales meetings and across management 

Skills and Qualifications

  • College diploma or equivalent, or data analytics certification 
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales reporting, financial forecasting or analytics role 
  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce, Tableau or other equivalent software
  • Strong research skills and experience with database management  
  • Strong data visualization aptitude and a strategic mindset
  • Experience using Google Office Suite
  • Ability to multitask in fast paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Initiative and ability to lead and identify areas of need
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills required.

 How You'll Know You're on the Right Track

  • Within 30 days you will understand the scope of the sales analyst role and be familiar with the tasks and tools to complete your daily work.  You will have knowledge of Persefoni’s process across its various sales channels and identify a list of key reporting requirements from all applicable stakeholders.
  • Within 60 days you will have a strong understanding of the current sales process, sales systems, and operational needs. You will be generating and compiling daily, weekly, and monthly reports to present to key leadership.  
  • Within 90 days you will be able to interpret key results through data analysis and help develop sales forecasts and inform sales strategy, proactively suggest improvements to current processes, and successfully execute responsibilities.

Job Type:

Full-time. Exempt. Remote. Salary based on experience and location.
