Job Description

Position Description: At The Climate Board, we know that the key to growth is in a high-performing sales team. That is why we’re seeking an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be the “face” of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.  You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills with the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. You will also get to experience and shape the fast-paced and fun culture of a quickly growing company of committed people.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Work closely with Sales Development Representative to maximize their contribution to your shared success
  • Identify prospect's needs and challenges
  • Achieve quarterly and annual new customer sales targets
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Report to Head of Sales with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

 Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ Years prior experience in B2B sales with a track record of achieving sales quotes as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Experience selling B2B professional services to large multinational companies
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills via phone and email
  • Proven creative problem-solving skills and approach
  • Time management and planning skills

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Hubspot or other Sales tools
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, sales or relevant field
