Job Description

Redaptive is seeking a energetic and highly personable Customer Success Associate to join our Redaptive Technology Group (RTG). RTG’s primary solution is Data-as-a-Service, which entails selling and installing electric consumption meters, collecting and analyzing the data, and guiding customers to implement both capital and operational energy improvement opportunities.  Reporting to the Head of Customer Success, the Customer Success Associate will lead the delivery of DaaS serving as the face of RTG for both internal and external customers engagement post meter installation. In this role you will be responsible for: 1) customer goal achievement, 2) customer advocacy, 3) enhancing the customer experience through improved processes, 4) supporting RTG sales in account retention and expansion, 5) project identification and referrals, and 6) supporting the growth and evolution of Redaptive’s DaaS product.  This is an external facing role that requires working with existing customers as well as internally across Redaptive’s sales, operations, energy engineering, product, data science, legal, and finance teams. The role will have an opportunity to contribute in a direct and visible way to Redaptive’s top and bottom-line by maintaining customer satisfaction in the interest of contract renewals and upsells and by successfully driving projects to Redaptive and its partners. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for customer satisfaction and successful delivery.
  • Achieve an ongoing mutually successful commercial relationship.
  • Ensure customer is onboarded and trained on Redaptive’s DaaS solution.
  • Proactive customer engagement, including meetings and reports.
  • Provide professionalism and timeliness in responding to inquiries and issues.
  • Responsible for energy analytics software renewals and upsells.
  • Ensure all customer administrative aspects are smooth and efficient.
  • Management of internal and external partner relationships.
  • Supporting sales in pursuing account expansion opportunities.
  • Identifying and selling energy project opportunities.
  • Coordinating key stakeholder communication and interaction.
  • Support Product and Software Development teams with continuous improvement.
  • Provide open, thorough, and productive communication with customers and internal parties.

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • 2-4 + years of experience in B2B analytics software customer success management with a customer-first mindset.  
  • Energy analytics experience is preferred but not required.
  • Energy efficiency project development experience preferred. 
  • Ability to break down complex structures into relevant points for a diverse set of stakeholders.   
  • Skilled at influential information sharing. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong presentation building and delivering.  
  • Superb probing and listening skills to anticipate customer needs 
  • Strong quantitative analysis and quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills. 
  • Commercially minded, anticipating customer need in big picture. 
  • Strategic relationship management and trust building  
  • Organized:  Prioritization skills and Project management skills to drive output from multiple workstreams and various support team members as well as customer and partner with skillful follow-up. 
  • High standards for self and others; Strong ambition to succeed; Driven and hard working. 
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% when travel resumes. 
  • Have an ergonomically correct and functional work-from-home workstation set up; amenable to working from home for the foreseeable future

  • Expected annual salary: $68,000 (subject to adjustment for relevant experience, skills, geo location)
  • Annual at-target bonus: minimum 10% of salary depending on level of role
