Job Description

CleanChoice Energy is seeking a data-driven Web Marketing Manager to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity if you're passionate about optimizing website conversion rate through strategic offers, content and AB testing, personalization, training direct reports and most of all: making it easy for consumers to make a positive impact on the environment. 

CleanChoice is a fast-growing certified B Corporation, whose mission is to transform the U.S. electricity market and make clean energy accessible to everyone. This position is a newly created role and will report to the Digital Marketing Director.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Web Marketing Manager you will:

  • Manage & maintain the websites with focus on conversion rate optimization
    • Design, execute, and measure A/B tests for lead generation, conversion, and engagement; act with urgency to implement findings
    • Manage and execute a website personalization strategy for the brand 
    • Analyze website performance and user experience through heat mapping, surveys, and other reports. Provide suggested website improvements with the digital and broader marketing team.
    • Work closely with Director of Digital Marketing and UX Designers on optimization and testing plans
    • Own the process and be the gatekeeper for all digital promotions & offers with end goal of creating a cross-channel marketing promotional strategy and calendar
    • Create new landing pages and optimize existing pages within headless CMS program
    • Responsible for maintenance of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager and any new implementation tactics
    • Direct the SEO strategy and work with digital team members and technology team to implement
  • Train, mentor and manage a small team of digital marketers
    • Manage a small team of talented digital marketers
    • Educate best practices, upskill team members and identify new and innovative ways to create positive impact
  • Serve as a leader in the digital space
    • Act as a thought leader within digital team, evangelizing a mobile, digital-first, test-and-learn approach
    • Collaborate with the Director of Digital Marketing  to define product features, test and set pricing, identify marketing opportunities, and develop a path to scale.
    • Act like an owner, identifying and acting on business needs as they arise
    • Keep up to date with industry and market trends

 Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, statistics, data science, or business administration
  • 5+ years experience in website management & website analytics
    • You love playing around with metrics and figuring out how they drive digital performance
    • CR isn’t just an abbreviation but concept you think about all day long
  • 3+ years working within a CMS to manage a website
  • 3+ years creating digital strategy in a large and/or high-growth business
  • 1+ years managing direct reports
  • Self-starter, highly organized, results-driven; able to self-direct and work independently—capable of prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience designing and implementing digital strategy, preferably in a B2C environment.
  • Expert in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, A/B Testing platforms
  • Naturally a strategic thinker, with excellent critical thinking and analytical ability.
